2021: The Spark Ignites
It all began with a spark. Four brothers, united by their passion for strength, discipline, and innovation, started dreaming big. In the early days of 2021, we, the Morales brothers, discussed our vision over countless late night conversations. With every idea and plan, we could see the potential of what we could create together. MorGrind was born from this unyielding spirit of camaraderie and ambition.
2022: From Dreams to Screens
By 2022, our vision began to take shape. We decided to have some fun and document our journey. Our initial foray into the digital world involved recording and posting videos of our lifting sessions. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a platform for us to share our passion and connect with others who shared our drive.
2023: Branding and Beginnings
In 2023, MorGrind took a major leap forward. We crafted our first official logo and designed custom t-shirts. These shirts weren’t just clothing, they were symbols of our journey and our unity. We proudly wore them as we took our first steps into the competitive arena. Team MorGrind emerged, and with it, we began competing under our new banner.
We also welcomed two incredible additions to our team: Hector Haro and Jerry Martinez, who brought their own unique strengths and energy to MorGrind. With our team complete, we were ready to make a mark in the competitive world.
2024: A New Era
After a brief hiatus to regroup and refine our vision, 2024 saw the unveiling of a new MorGrind logo. This redesign represented not just growth, but a renewed commitment to our mission. Our participation in a variety of competitions, including ADCC, NAGA, IBJJF, 559 Fights, and Lights Out MMA, showcased the versatility and resilience of our brand.
Even as we evolved, one thing remained constant: our relentless drive for more. MorGrind is not just a brand; it’s a journey of continuous improvement and boundless ambition.
Milestones and Achievements

Danny Morales (DANMOR)
Danny’s dedication to martial arts reached new heights as he earned his MAIT Second Degree Black Belt in the United States Marine Corps and achieved a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Blue Belt after clinching the title at the Virginia International Open IBJJF Championship. His journey is a testament to perseverance and excellence.
Isaiah Morales (IMOR)
Isaiah’s year was marked by victory and growth. He became a CCC (Cascade Collegiate Conference) Champion, qualified nationally, and maintained an undefeated record as an Amateur MMA Fighter going 2-0. As he continues his college career, his ambition drives him to achieve even more.
Diego Morales (DMOR)
Diego showcased his prowess by claiming gold at the 2023 Brian Keck Memorial Preseason Nationals. His success continued with CIF Championship titles, placing in the California State Tournament and a commitment to Menlo College, marking a new chapter in his athletic career.
Hector Haro
Hector made waves by securing gold at the ADCC trials in Las Vegas, going 4-0. He continued his dominance with a stellar MMA debut, adding another win to his record and solidifying his place in the competitive landscape.
Jerry Martinez (JMAR)
Jerry has been a powerhouse, after serving 4 years in the United States Marine Corps, he went on earning gold at the New Breed Jiu-Jitsu Federation Championship and competing fiercely alongside Hector at the ADCC. His dedication to MMA training in Texas positions him for an exciting MMA debut in the near future.
